About Me

     Hey! I'm Ana. Some of my favorite things include any song by Lewis Del Mar, the color pink, the moon, coffee, and T.V. shows such as Supernatural, The Vampire Diaries, Below Deck, & Grey's Anatomy. Oh and of course, the thought of Seattle, Washington. Although I've never been there I Just know that's where I want to live! It's like one of those things where you just close your eyes and point to a random place on a map... except there was no map involved. Another piece of my future includes my plans of becoming a wedding planner. I love the idea of putting together this very important day for people. It's something they will always look back on. In order to do this I'm currently working towards a major in business. I can't wait to see what the future brings.

Blog Post 5 Close your eyes and describe the image that appears in your head when you hear the word sweatshop.  In my head I can imagine an overcrowded room, people lined up next to each other all using a machine to complete their work. Technology, Too Much of a Good Thing?

Blog Post 1 When you leave your house there are a few items that you more than likely consider essential in taking with you. These items include your keys, wallet/purse and your phone.  Years ago taking your phone with you would not have even been an option but today the thought of leaving it behind is quite terrifying to people. Having some form of technology at your fingertips is crucial these days. Technology is not only used as form of communication but also for many people it’s an essential part of their job. Technology overall seems like an amazing concept. It allows you to do things at a much faster rate with less effort. But is maybe too much technology a bad thing? In the long run there are many downsides to the impact technology has in our lives. Images Make EVERYTHING Better

Blog Post 4 When making my blogs, I always make sure to include a picture. Pictures make everything look more lively! They can bring any long and boring text to life. I think that adding a picture to any text can totally change the perspective of the viewer in response to its contents. It has the ability to    make a more long lasting impact on them. This idea is true in response to the text, the Convention of Rights of the Child. There are two versions one of which is a very long text. Although it contains very useful information many people just aren't drawn to read it. However the other version, the photo essay, the pictures capture the eye of the reader making it more likely that they will read it. These pictures allow the reader to feel more of a connection to whatever it is they are reading. This is certainly true in the photo essay version of the Convention of Rights of the Child.
